Q：What is equity？
A：Equity = Assets of current contract transaction wallet, including margin and floating PNL
Q：What is risk limits?
A：When maximum value of the opening positions is higher than risk limits, traders will be deleveraged to increase risk limits
Q：How to calculate used risk limits?
A：The higher one between buying order value + long position value and buying order value + short position value, is the already used risk limits.
Q：Why can't I reduce leverage?
A：You'll need sufficient margin before reducing leverage. Please ensure that you already have sufficient margin.
Q：Why can't I increase leverage?
A：1. Increaing leverage will free some margin. If you have floating losses, increasing leverage might lead to forced liquidation. So the increasing of leverage might fail.
2. After increasing leverage, your opening position price might be more than risk limits. That means low leverage will allow trader to open positions of higher price
Q：Why my positions disappear?
A：Please check it in your contract transaction bill. There you can check whether the postions have been forcedly liquidated or not
Q：When I use 100X leverage, why is the margin more than 1%?
A：It's because JEX contract transaction has employed fair marked price system. Fair marked price is the reference of forced liquidation price. And there will be premium compensation

A：Check contract transaction bill to see whether you've acquired some more capital

A：Closing positions at market will require your position to be under 10 BTC. If your postion is more than 10 BTC, we suggest you to manually close positions to avoid possible losses
Q：What does forced liquidation mean?
A：When losses make your margin can't support your positions, your positions will be forcely liquidated.
Q：What does auto-deleveraged liquidation mean?
A：When one trader is forcedly liquidated, and the depth in the market can't deal with his positions. Your positions, which might be profitable, will be used as counterparty to close his/her positions.
Q：Why are my positions deducted?
A：It's a result of partial forced liquidation. The positions that has exceeded risk gradient value will be partially forcedly liquidated. Partial positions are reduced to avoid the forced liquidation of all positions.
Q：Now, for contract trading, you only have BTCUSDT?
A：Now, Both BTCUSDT and EOSUSDT perpetual contract trading are available in JEX. Other trading target will be available later.
Q：I can only have position of one direction?
A：For one specified trading traget, you could only long or short.
Q：What's open price?
A：Open price is the average price when trader open positions
Q：What is forced liquidation?
A：If margin of positions < maintenance margin or margin +floating PNL< maintenance margin, positions will be forcedly liquidated. Forced liquidation will be handled automatically by the system.
Q：Is cotnract transaction one-margin mode or one-position-one-magrin mode?
A：One-position-one magrin mode
Q：What's one-position-one-margin mode?
A：Each position will have one particular margin. When one position is forcedly liquidated,only the margin of this position will be lost. Other margins won't be affected.
Q：Could I both give commissions on long orders and short orders
A：Then if both commissions are activated. One will be opening a long position, the other will be closing this position.
Q：At what time will capital fee be paid?
A：Capital fee is generated every 8 hours. That's to say at 0:00, 8:00, 16:00 of Singapore time. When the rate is positive, long position holders will pay for short position holders . When the rate is negative, short position holders will pay for long position holders.
Q：Is 100X leverage available in contract transaction?
A：Yes, it's available. But plsease carefully read margin introduction before you use it.
Q：Why do I fail in adjusting leverage?
A：It might be that, after ajusting, your margin of positions is lower than mainenance margin. That will lead to the failure in adjusting leverage.
Q：Will leverage be automatically adjusted in each commission?
A：Yes it's necessary. If not adjusted, the leverage will be that of last commission.
Q：How is forced liquidation price calculated?
A：For long positions, forced liquidation price= opening price - ( margin of positions - maintenance margin - withholding capital fee) / amount (if capital fee is positive)
For short positions, forced liquidation price= opening price + ( margin of positions - maintenance margin - withholding capital fee) / amount (if capital fee is negative)

A： Maintenance margin = open price * open positions * maintenance margin rate
Q： What's margin of positions?
A：Maintenance margin = closing price * closing positions *1/ leverage + premium compensation
If buying price is higher than reasonable marked price, premium compensation = (reasonable marked price - closing price) * amount
If selling price is lower than reasonable marked price, premium compensation = ( closing price - reasonable marked price) * amount
Q：What's the service fee standard of contract transaction?
A：Maker 0.03%，Taker 0.06%
Maker=Put entry orders/commission orders
Taker=Entry orders been taken
Q：What's the relationship between risk limits, minimum margin rate and leverage?
A：When risk limits is the lowest, leverage can be as high as 100.
Lowest margin rate is the initial margin rate in risk limits rate page.
1/lowest margin rate is the highest leverage. The higher the open position value, the higher the risk limits and maintenance margin.
Q：What's the premium compensation?
A：Premium compensation: opening price is contract price, while forced liquidation price is fair marked price. There will be a price difference. Without compensation, if price difference is more than 0.5% or 1%, the opening positions of high leverage might be forcedly liquidated.
Q：What's capital fee rate?
A：If some traders keep on longing, making contract price higher than marked price, then traders who longs shall give money to the one who short, thus encouraging the other traders to short.
Q：Why my commission orders doesn't freeze margin?
A：Positions could only have one direction. Commisions orders that will be used to close opening positions won't freeze margin.
Q：What's the difference of marked price and inex price?
A：Index price is a average price of the different prices coming from various spot exchange. Marked price is calculated via index price and capital fee.
Q：Which prices of exchanges does index price refer to?
A：As for JEX perpetual contract
BTCUSD index price 100% comes from Coinbase
EOSUSDT index price comes from OKEX, Huobi and Binance. Each takes 33.3%
Q：What's the relationship between fair marked price and forced liquidation price?
A：For long positions, if fair marked price is lower than forced liquidation price, positions wil be closed.
For short positions, if fair marked price is higher than forced liquidation price, positions wil be closed.
Q：Where can I check loan rate?

Q：If I long, is it better opening price is lower than marked price?
A：In long positions, if open price is lower than marked price, you won't need to pay premium compensation. The existence of premium compensation will make it harder for your positions to be forcedly liquidated.
Q：What's the usage of reasonable basis?
A：Premium index== ( Max ( 0 , weighted buying price - marked price) - Max ( 0 , marked price - weighted selling price)) / spot price + reasonalbe basis of marked price
Q：Is marked price the same with reasonable marked price?
A：Marked price is reasonable price instead of latest trading price. Reasonable marked price is used to calculate floating PNL and forced liquidation conditions.

A：Yes, capital fee is related to premium index.
Q：What should I do if I can't be in login status in cotract transaction page?
A：Log out of your account, and then try to re-login from contract transaction page.
Q：Why can't forced liquidation closing price be checked in K-line chart?
A：Forced liquidation order is taken charge by the system directly. I won't appear on the market.
Q：What's open positions/ close positions mode?
A：As for traditional open positions / close positions mode, you should first choose long or short, then start to open positions or close positions.
Q：How will maintenance margin rate change?
A：Maintenance margin rate is related to the value of opened positions. The lowest value is 0.5%. When position value is between 100Kusdt and 200Kusdt, it's 1%. It could checked in leverage adjusting page. When risk limits change, maintenance margin will change accordingly
Q：Why forced liquidation price is different from market price?
A：Forced liquidation price is the broken price of the positions. The positions will be taken charged by the system and JEX exchange won't interfere the system

0.05% means to charge 0.05% of total transaction value
Q：Could I add margin in contract transaction?
A：Yes, you could. When you have floating PNL, to avoid the risk of forced liquidation, you could reduce your leverage, or reduce your leverage temporarily and re-increase it later.
Q：I have longed BTC and later BTC price rose . Why are my positions forcedly liquidated?
A：Capital fee is dedcuted from margin of positions. If margin of positions < maintenance margin or margin +floating PNL< maintenance margin, positions will be forcedly liquidated. When capital fee rate is a positive number, long position holders will pay for short position holders. Details could be checked in your contract transaction bills
Q：What's my profit. when in the order, magin of positions is lower than maintenance margin?
A：When your positions are forced liquidated, your positions will be taken by the system. The rest margin and floating PNL will be put into the protesting fund.
Q：Could you give a detailed explaination on the contract transaction experiencing bonus?
A：There is no using limiation for activated contract transaction experiencing bonus. Traders could use it to pay service fee, capitial fee or losses. As for profits of experiencing bouns trading, traders could withdraw them from the exchange.
Q：The market price has not reached force liquidation price, why are my positions forcedly liquidated?
A：Capital fee will be deducted at 00:00, 8:00 and 16:00. It might be deducted from margin of positions. With the cut of margin of positions, forced liquitation might happen.
Q：What's the protesting fund?
A：This is a matured system which has been employed by Bitmex for years. JEX employs this system as well.
Q：Why is the closing position price of closing position at market price quite different from marked price?
A：Closing position price of closing position at market price is calculated from buying price and selling price. The best buying or selling price will be employed.
Q：Do traders need to first buy BTC and then start contract trading?
A：No need, JEX uses USDT as trading margin.
Q：What's the difference between positive capital fee rate and negative capital fee rate?
A：When capital fee rate is positive, if you opened short positions, you will get funds. When capital fee rate is negative, if you opened long positions, you will get funds
Q：In hatched market condition, could the commission order be taken?
A：When hatched shape appears, it means depth is not enough. Order execution and trade confirmation will be arraged accroding to time preference.
Q：What's the relationship between commission margin and margin of positions?

Q：I had set up google authetcator sometime back but the website never asks for google authentication. Also I cannot reset it can you please look into it. It seems overseas phone numbers have been added can my google auth be enabled again ? I cannot do anything with it for now?
When I initially opened the accout I set it up and it showed on my account but I was never asked for google auth while logging in. I will try to unbound it now and see if I am able to do it as previously it didnt allow me to.
When I got to main security page it says Google Auth Recommended. But it dosent give me any link to enable Disable it. But in security Strategy page it says I have set it up. I cannot add Phone number as it asks for Google Auth code which doesn’t work.
